Breve storia "Roots"
Spesso nella fase in cui finisce l'anno, vengo rapito da ispirazioni e spinto a creare sempre nuovo cose, nuove materiale (blog , compilation...) ovviamente che sia legato al mondo musicale, nonché la mia grande passione.
Olte al Garage, Beat Rock 'N' Roll e generi affini , sono stato sempre attratto dalle sonorità vecchie e scricchiolanti in generale, ma in particolare dai suoni giamaicani degli anni d'oro (soul, reggae, rocksteady...).
Sempre più rapito da quei suoni e con tanta voglia di rilassarmi , in una tarda serata uggiosa di non molto tempo fa, chiedo informazioni ad un mio amico, mi consiglia di spluciare delle buone etichette e compilation degli anni sessanta/settanta del gergo di cui sopra....
Lui, con piacere mi fa qualche nome di diverse label, ed è cosi che, sempre più curioso iniziano le mie ricerche nei meandri "Roots".
Devo dirvi che da quel momento, sono rimasto letteralmente rapito dai quei suoni giamaicani così caldi e trascinanti , spesso conditi da splendidi cori soul e testi meravigliosi e spesso anche profondi e malinconici .
Ascolto tante e tante compilation del genere in questi giorni , finché (essendone già abbastanza allenato) , vista la gran mole ed il tanto bel materiale disponibile, decido di creare delle comp fatte da me (naturalmente senza pretesa alcuna) , Il risultato finale ottenuto mi piace non poco.
Ci penso molto se postarle sul mio blog storico , ma nel contempo l'idea che mi balena è di creare un qualcosa che tratti esclusivamente il suono roots , senza mischiarlo con il mio primo amore ovvero il Garage / Beat...
Dopo mille pensieri e farneticazioni decido di creare il mio ennesimo blog, quest'ultimo dedicato ai suoni Roots.
All'interno di esso posterò solo comp create da me , dando sfogo al mio gusto e creatività. Al memento non ho e non trovo altre parole da dirvi a riguardo , spero che le mie nuove idee vi piacciano ed allietino i vostri timpani.

Short story "Roots"
Often in the phase in which the year ends, I am kidnapped by inspirations and pushed to always create new things, new material (blogs, compilations...) obviously related to the musical world, as well as my great passion.
Other than Garage, Beat Rock 'N' Roll and allied genres, I've always been attracted by old and crunchy sounds in general, but especially by the Jamaican sounds of the golden years (soul, reggae, rocksteady...).
More and more enraptured by those sounds and with a great desire to relax, on a gloomy late evening not so long ago, I ask a friend of mine for information, he advises me to check out some good labels and compilations from the sixties / seventies of the aforementioned jargon ....
He, with pleasure, gives me some names of different labels, and that's how in the late evening, more and more curious, my searches in the maze "Roots" begin.
I have to tell you that from that moment, I was literally enraptured by those warm and enthralling Jamaican sounds, often seasoned with splendid soulful choirs and wonderful and often deep and melancholic lyrics.
I listen to many and many compilations of the genre these days, until (being already trained enough), given the large amount and the very beautiful material available, I decide to create some comps made by me (naturally without any pretense), the final result obtained quite like it.
I think a lot about posting them on my historical blog, but at the same time the idea that flashes through me is to create something that deals exclusively with the roots sound, without mixing it with my first love or Garage / Beat...
After a thousand thoughts and rantings I decide to create my umpteenth blog, the latter dedicated to Roots sounds.
Well, I inform you that "BE COOL" is born today.

Within it I will only post comps created by me, giving vent to my taste and creativity. At the moment I don't have and I can't find other words to tell you about it, I hope you like my new ideas and gladden your eardrums.
